My favorite cuisines around the world!
As a food lover and creator of food tours in Paris, I love discovering cultures through their cuisine. Here are the cuisines from around the world that inspire me the most even though I truly love them all!
1. Italian Cuisine
Fresh pasta, fragrant olive oil, slow-cooked sauces, and simple yet sublime ingredients… Italy is warmth, family, and “la dolce vita” on the plate.
Favorite spot: Marcello – A cozy restaurant with a beautiful terrace in the 6th arrondissement, offering homemade pasta and authentic flavors.
2. Lebanese Cuisine
Colorful, generous, and full of aromas! Mezzes, grilled dishes, fresh breads, and herbs like mint or za’atar are some of my must-haves.
Favorite spot: Eats Thyme – Located in the 1st arrondissement, this restaurant offers modern and creative lebanese cuisine. The Man’ouché are a delight!
3. Peruvian Cuisine
I discovered it during a trip that left a deep mark on me. Between tangy ceviches, quinoa-based dishes, and spicy sauces, it’s a cuisine that blends ancient traditions with modern twists.
Favorite spot: Le Comptoir du Pérou – A must-visit in the 15th arrondissement to taste authentic peruvian flavors, with ceviches and other traditional dishes.
4. French Cuisine (of course!)
Living in Paris, I discover the wonders of french cuisine every day. From traditional dishes to creations by Michelin-starred chefs, France is an endless source of inspiration.
Favorite spot: Le Bon Georges – A Parisian bistro in the 9th arrondissement where you can savor classic french dishes in a charming and laid-back atmosphere.
